Eclipse Blind Systems specialises in the supply of quality fabrics, slat and systems to the UK window blinds industry from its base at Inchinnan near Glasgow. Eclipse occupies an impressive 14 acre site that provides the design and development, finishing, warehousing and distribution.
Eclipse is part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, who are the largest window blind company in the world with distribution in over 40 different countries.
Eclipse approached us to design and build an ecommerce platform that would allow their retail customers to place volume orders directly from their website replacing a typical telesales format.
The solution
The business had 3 disparate systems – a website built in Umbraco, a legacy ERP and a Made To Measure system built in MS.NET
We built a new B2B ecommerce solution in Magento 2 to include a complete product catalog, extensive tiered pricing models for their customer base and a complete integration with their preexisting ERP system to allow for accurate order and stock management across the business. We have also provided various other integrations, consultancy and business intelligence integrations as part of our ongoing relationship.
